Mr. Hernandez is entering his 7th year of teaching, all at MPJH.
He oversees the Memorial Parkway Band program, conducts the Honors Band, co-teacher the Concert Band and is a woodwind specialist.
He is a Katy ISD alumni having attended Katy JH, and Katy HS. After high school he attended Blinn College, then transferred to Sam Houston State University. He was a member of the Bearkat Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. He graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.
When not at the band hall, Mr. Hernandez likes to spend time with his fiancé Nayla, his nephews Noah and Aiden, and watching soccer.
Mr. Carreon is entering his 6th year of teaching. Prior to arriving at MPJH, he spent 4 years at Hambrick Middle School in Aldine ISD.
He conducts the Symphonic Band, co-teaches the Concert Band and is a brass specialist.
He grew up in Houston and is a graduate of Houston ISD's Heights High School. After high school he attended Blinn College, then transferred to Sam Houston State University. He was a drum major while at Blinn, and was a member of the Bearkat Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble while at SHSU. He graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.
When not in the band hall, Mr. Carreon enjoys spending time with family, singing with his church's choir, and watching soccer.

Mr. Fruge is entering his 4th year at Taylor High School. He is the designated percussion director of the JET Band, he also teaches percussion at MPJH & McMeans.
Mr. Fruge is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he met his wife (and former MPJH Eagle) Kelsey. He is a DCI alumni, where he marched for the Guardians Drum & Bugle Corps.
When not at the 3 schools he attends, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kiddo, playing video games, and golfing.
